Full-time children"are different from the former"NEETs",they live at home and take care of their parents'daily life,in exchange for financial support from their parents or live on personal savings. Most of the"full-time children"are in the golden age of career development and career growth.Based on the text content of Douban.com,Weibo,Douyin,Zhihu,Xiaohongshu and other Internet platforms, this paper analyzes the psychological process of"full-time children"from the perspective of planned behavior theory. There are many reasons for active selection or passive becoming"full-time children"and the reasons are diverse. The emotional and economic attachment between them and their parents is an important basis for the formation and maintenance of"full-time children".After many people become"full-time children",they bear a certain proportion of housework, and their physical and mental state has been healed. However, they inevitably feel the pressure from the surrounding concern and curiosity, hoping to find a suitable job for themselves as soon as possible and get rid of the identity of"full-time children".The phenomenon of"full-time children"has both positive and negative effects on individuals, families, and society. It needs to be responded from all levels and given sufficient social support to"full-time children"in all aspects.
