图像学视角的国外顶级科技期刊的封面视觉设计策略

摘　　要：文章以Nature期刊为例,分析国外顶级科技期刊的封面视觉设计策略,为我国科技期刊封面设觉设计提供创新思路。采取个案研究方法,从图像学视角对国外顶级科技期刊Nature的封面进行整理和分析,梳理Nature封面设计的表现类型和封面图像的特点,以及对Nature封面文章的影响力的数据统计和分析。期刊封面文章与其它文章相比更具有影响力,以二维平面作为设计类型,更能引起读者的兴趣,从而提升期刊的阅读量和传播力。封面视觉设计是科技期刊视觉设计的核心之一,提高封面更换频率,重视封面图像的表达以及与文字间的关系,提升研究成果可视化设计,有助于提高我国科技期刊的影响力和传播力,促进我国科学知识的传播。Taking Nature magazine as an example,this paper analyzes the cover visual design strategy of foreign top scientific and technological journals,and provides innovative ideas for the cover visual design of Chinese scientific and technological journals.Taking the method of case study,this paper collates and analyzes the cover of Nature,a top foreign scientific and technological journal,from the perspective of Iconography,sorts out the performance types of Nature's cover design and the characteristics of the cover image,as well as the data statistics and analysis of the influence of Nature's cover articles.Compared with other articles,journal cover articles have more influence.Taking two-dimensional plane as the design type can arouse readers'interest,so as to improve the reading volume and communication power of the journal.The visual design of the cover is one of the cores of the visual design of scientific and technological journals.Improving the frequency of cover replacement,paying attention to the expression of the cover image and the relationship between the cover image and the text,and improving the visual design of research results will help to improve the influence and communication of scientific and technological journals in China,and promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge in China.
