To satisfy both the daylighting and building power generation requirements of the photovoltaic glass curtain wall,a hybrid concentrator composed of a double parabolic structure and a light guide plate was designed. The structure of concentrator is introduced, and its performance is measured and analyzed. The geometric concentrating ratio of the concentrator is 6,and the system efficiency is 95%.By comparing the concentrator models with different cell widths and different moving distances, the deflection angle curve with incident is measured, and the receiving range of the concentrator is±3°.Under the condition of vertical incidence, the photovoltaic module efficiency of the concentrating system can reach 70%and reduce the indoor glare. Finally, the irradiance of the new system was analyzed by using DIALUX software. The irradiance of the whole day was more than 300 lx and the irradiance uniformity reached 0.956.These results indicate that the concentrating system is feasible for photovoltaic glass curtain wall, which can improve the comfort and reduce the construction cost. The system can replace the traditional hollow glass.
