摘　　要：《刀锋》是英国作家威廉·萨默塞特·毛姆的长篇小说代表作之一。通过从精神生态理论的视角对小说所反映的二次世界大战期间的西方社会精神生态进行解读,分析其精神生态危机的表现,探讨主人公重建精神生态的途径,以启发当代人打破精神困境,“亲近自然”“降低物欲,丰盈内心”“融入社会”,以及关爱他人等,从而构建和谐的精神生态。The Razor's Edge is one of William Somerset Maugham's masterpiece novels.From the perspective of the theory of Spiritual Ecology,this paper interprets the spiritual ecology of the western society reflected in the novel during the Second World War and analyzes the expression of the spiritual ecological crisis.By discussing the ways of the hero to rebuild the spiritual ecology,it aims at inspiring contemporary people to break the spiritual dilemma.We should be close to nature,reduce material desire,enrich the heart,care for others,integrate into the society and build a harmonious spiritual ecology.
