It is of great significance to study the thermal response of construction workers in summer to ensure their personal safety and reduce the occurrence of safety accidents. Through field investigation at construction sites and with the aid of TAITherm software, a virtual human body model was established to restore the changes in the physiological parameters of construction workers at outdoor work. Mathematical means such as correlation analysis and regression models were used to study the relationship between the physiological parameters of construction workers and thermal environment parameters. The results show that the simulated core temperature is close to the measured value, the trend of the simulated average skin temperature is similar to the measured value, the time lag of core temperature response is about 3 min. Short rests can effectively reduce the average skin temperature and cardiac output, but has no significant effect on core temperature reduction. Activity duration is an important factor affecting physiological parameters, and the regulation mechanism of the human body becomes weaker with the increase of activity duration.
