DANCING INTO THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON

摘　　要：Dancers from ethnic minority groups perform on a train in Guizhou Province in southwest China on January 26.Their performance was part of an event hosted on the train that same day,during which passengers were treated to a display of folk customs as well as a taste of specialty foods of the Miao and Dong ethnic groups.This particular train passes through several townships in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture,connecting more than 100 ethnic minority villages along the 337-km route.The train also hosts temporary fairs on board,giving passengers the opportunity to purchase some goodies for the upcoming Spring Festival,or Chinese New Year,which falls on February 10 this year.
