摘 要:活性炭可以通过碱改性的方法有效提高其对客体分子的储存能力。针对适于吸附-水合耦合储存甲烷的椰壳活性炭进行改性,以氨水为改性剂制备了改性活性炭,对比研究了活性炭改性前后的孔隙结构、表面化学变化及其对甲烷储存性能的影响。表征结果表明:氨改性增加了活性炭的比表面积和微孔容积,并减小了平均孔径;改性还影响了活性炭表面官能团组成,降低了活性炭表面O(氧)元素含量并略微增加了N(氮)元素含量,降低了活性炭表面的极性和亲水性。以原炭和NaOH(氢氧化钠)改性炭为对照组,进行甲烷储量实验和动力学实验,发现用体积分数为0.4%浓氨水改性效果最好,在1℃、8 MPa温压条件下储量能达到16.99 mmol/g,是未改性时的1.2倍,且动力学优秀,诱导时间最短为19 min。By altering its alkali,activated carbon can efficiently increase the amount of guest molecules it can store.This study discusses modified coconut shell activated carbon that can be used for hydration-coupled methane adsorption storage.The modified activated carbon is made using ammonia as the modifier.Comparative research is done on the activated carbon’s pore structure,surface chemical alterations,and methane storage capacity before and after the modification.According to the characterization data,ammonia modification improves activated carbon’s specific surface area and micropore volume while decreasing its average pore size.Ammonia modification also affects the functional group composition of the activated carbon surface,causing a slight drop in oxygen concentration and a slight rise in nitrogen content.Furthermore,the polarity and hydrophilicity of the activated carbon surface are reduced.This study also conducted methane storage and kinetic experiments using raw carbon and modified carbon treated with sodium hydroxide(NaOH)as control groups.It was discovered that concentrated ammonia with a volume fraction of 0.4%had the optimum modifying effect.The storage can reach 16.99 mmol/g,or 1.2 times that of the unaltered at 1°C and 8 MPa.Its kinetics are also quite good,and its shortest induction time is only 19 minutes.This is because ammonia modification stimulates the adsorption of methane by activated carbon and alters the distribution of methane molecules and water molecules,which accelerates the hydrate formation kinetics and increases nucleation sites.
