摘　　要：李慈铭自青年时期即立志写日记,入京捐官后,更执着于日记写作,家国变乱、琐屑日常,皆录入日记,预备为传世之作。民国间《越缦堂日记》采用预售方式影印出版,是出版史上的先例,具有极高的关注度。问世百余年来久盛不衰,推为“晚清四大日记”之首,作者性情之真、才华之高,折服不少学人,虽受诟病,仍不失为近代文坛的经典。李氏日记写作时已在学人间传阅、评点、摘录,凸显出交流功能,蕴含作者传播、流传的意图。日记由传统的私密记录到公开出版,李慈铭日记手稿上友人的评点,是日记的私密特性演变到公开性的重要实据。Li Ciming has been determined to write a diary since he was a young man.After he became an official in Beijing,he became even more obsessed with writing a diary.National turmoil and daily life are written in diaries and prepared for handed down.During the period of the Republic of China,Yuemantang Diary was published by pre-sale photocopying,which was a precedent in the history of publishing and attracted a great deal of attention.In the more than 100 years since its inception,it has been prosperous for a long time,and it is regarded as the first of the“Four Diaries of the Late Qing Dynasty”.The author s true temperament and talent have convinced many scholars.Although he has been criticized,it is still a classic in the modern literary world.Li s diary has been circulated,commented,and excerpted among the scholars,which highlights the communication function and contains the author s intention to spread and circulate.The diary has changed from traditional private recording to public publication.The comments of friends on Li Ciming's diary manuscript are important evidence for the evolution of the diary s private characteristics to publicity.
