果园覆草在现代果园中的作用和方法

摘　　要：果园覆草后病虫害发生较重,操作不当还会使树体受伤害,且用工多、用工贵、雇工难,草资源也较少等。但作者强调,覆草具有改良土壤、培肥地力、保持水土、改善气热状况、抑制杂草生长、节省除草用工、抑制返盐碱、减轻落果碰伤等作用,并提出果园覆草时间、方式、厚度、材料收集、肥水管理等具体操作方法。After covering the orchard with grass,pests and diseases occur more severely,and improper operation can also cause damage to the tree body.However,the author emphasizes that covering with grass has the functions of improving soil,fertilizing soil fertility,maintaining soil and water,improving air and heat conditions,inhibiting weed growth,saving weed labor,inhibiting salt and alkali return,and reducing fruit drop damage.Specific operational methods such as orchard covering time,method,thickness,material collection,fertilizer and water management are proposed.
