Swine influenza(SI)is one of the most important respiratory diseases in the pig industry, which is characterized by fever, cough, respiratory distress, and loss of appetite.Clinically,SI infection has a low mortality rate, but often leads to reduced feed utilization and poor growth performance, and may cause high morbidity and even death due to co-infections with other pathogens.Swine plays a complex and important role in interspecies transmission of influenza, and the occurrence of SI not only causes huge economic losses to the pig industry, but also poses a serious risk to public health. This article reviews the epidemiological status of swine influenza virus infection in China, virus evolution profile,cross-species transmission status and vaccine development progress in the last decade, and analyzes and discusses its comprehensive prevention and control strategies. This review provides data support for the epidemiological status of swine influenza virus in China, and provides reference for risk assessment and comprehensive prevention and control of swine influenza virus.
