3D Horizontal Well Profile Design Technology for Shale Gas

摘  要:页岩气水平井具有偏移距大、垂直靶前距不足、水平段长、防碰风险高等特点,井眼剖面优化设计面临较大挑战。分析比较斜面圆弧六段制、五点六段制和双二维等三类常用剖面设计类型技术优缺点,根据偏移距、目的层垂深、靶前距参数对剖面设计类型进行优选;阐述造斜率、造斜点的选择依据与剖面设计原则,对分段剖面优化设计等井眼剖面优化设计进行描述,合理的井眼剖面优化设计对于保障井下安全快速钻进具有重要意义。The design of horizontal wells for shale gas production presents significant challenges due to characteristics such as large displacement,insufficient vertical lead distance to the target,extensive horizontal sections,and a high risk of collision.This paper analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of three common profile design techniques:the slanted circular arc six-segment method,the five-point six-segment method,and the double two-dimensional method.Optimal trajectory design types are selected based on parameters such as displacement distance,target layer vertical depth,and lead distance to the target.The paper explains the basis for choosing the build-up rate(BUR)and kickoff point(KOP),as well as the principles of profile design.It describes the optimization of segmented profiles and other aspects of wellbore profile optimization.Proper optimization of the wellbore profile is crucial for ensuring safe and rapid underground drilling.
