摘　　要：Jonathan Hughes has been nominated Chair of IEC Technical Committee 88, one of the IEC key standardizing committees for the renewable energy industries.He currently works in the development, testing and validation of renewable energy technologies(both marine and wind power) for ORE Catapult in the United Kingdom. He started his career in instrumentation systems.
