摘　　要：1927年5月,受国际共产主义运动和马克思主义思想传播的影响,一些在美国的中国留学生和华侨中的先进分子陆续加入美国共产党,后成立隶属美国共产党中央的中国局。美共中国局成立后,一直致力于发动华侨华人拥护和支援中国共产党领导的反帝爱国运动、抗日民族统一战线运动和人民民主统一战线运动。其主要工作包括开辟和恢复中美间的太平洋秘密交通线、创办进步报刊、从事对华人华侨和美国民众的统战宣传工作、组织留美科学家和留学生回国建设新中国等,为中国革命做出了特殊的、不可替代的贡献。In May 1927,influenced by the international communist movement and the growing popularity of Marxist ideology,a number of Chinese students and progressive overseas Chinese in the United States joined the Communist Party USA(CPUSA)and established the China Bureau of the CPUSA.This bureau operated under the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPCUSA.Since its establishment,the China Bureau has worked tirelessly to mobilize overseas Chinese support for the CPC-led patriotic anti-imperialist movement,the united front movement against Japanese aggression,and the people's democratic united front movement.The China Bureau has made significant contributions by establishing and reinstating clandestine trans-Pacific communication lines between China and the United States,launching progressive newspapers and journals,implementing united front policies and public awareness campaigns among overseas Chinese and the American public,as well as facilitating the return of Chinese scientists and students in the US to contribute to China's reconstruction efforts.Through its efforts,the China Bureau has played a distinct and invaluable role in advancing the Chinese revolution.
