Investigation and Conservation Strategy of Ancient Trees and Ancient Tree Reserve Resources in Wuhan Botanical Garden(Mount Mo Scenic Area)

摘　　要：为开展武汉植物园古树及其后备资源保育管理、养护复壮等工作,掌握古树及其后备资源种类、数量等概况,通过资源调查、树龄检测、调查走访、文献查阅进行分析,对古树及其后备资源开展养护管理措施。结果表明:武汉植物园现有古树3株,古树后备资源276株,隶属13科24属30种。数量较多的树种有池杉、樟、二球悬铃木、湿地松、龙柏,占比为70.62%;从树龄结构看,树龄100 a以上的有3株,50~99 a有276株。从径级结构上看,树高主要集中在20~30 m之间,占比为75.27%;胸径以50~80 cm为主,占比73.12%;冠幅主要集中在5~10 m,占比为38.35%。从生长势来看,74.55%的为正常株,生长轻度衰弱的占24.01%,重度衰弱的占1.43%,无濒临死亡情况。In order to carry out conservation management and rejuvenation of ancient trees and ancient tree reserve resources in Wuhan Botanical Garden,we mapped trees and monitored age distribution,species category and morphological traits,using tree age detection,expert consultants and literature review.We found 3 ancient trees(over 100 years old)and 276 ancient tree reserve resources(between 50 and 99 years old),belonging to 13 families,24 genera and 30 species,with Taxodium distichum,Cinnamomum camphora,Platanus acerifolia,Pinus elliottii and Juniperus chinensis accounted for 70.62%.Three out of four of those trees were between 20 and 30 m heigh,while the diameters at breast height were mainly 50-80 cm,accounting for 73.12%.The crown width mainly concentrated between 5-10 m,accounting for 38.35%.In terms of growth potential,74.55%were normal plants,24.01%were slightly weakened,1.43%were severely weakened,and no near-death trees were found.
