激光选区烧结制备铜齿轮电极及其电火花加工应用

摘  要:针对利用铣削工艺制备电火花加工齿轮型腔的工具电极时存在制造柔性低和工艺流程复杂等问题,提出使用激光选区烧结(SLS)工艺制备铜齿轮电极。考虑到SLS制备的齿轮电极存在微观组织缺陷而导致其电导率较低,进而导致电火花加工性能较差的问题,通过热处理工艺来调节齿轮电极的电导率,并研究热处理参数对电导率及齿轮电极电火花加工性能的影响。结果表明:在不同参数热处理时,齿轮电极的电导率在9.51~33.8 mS/m范围内变化;在退火温度300℃、保温时间4 h时,可获得性能较好的齿轮电极,其TWR为0.002 4 mm^(3)/min、MRR为0.374 2 mm^(3)/min;与铣削加工的电极相比,SLS制备的齿轮电极,其MRR提升了31.53%。In order to solve the problems of low manufacturing flexibility and complicated process flow of tool electrode for electric discharge machining(EDM)gear cavity,selective laser sintering(SLS)process was proposed to prepare copper gear electrode.The gear electrode prepared by SLS process has low conductivity due to microstructure defects,which leads to low EDM performance.The conductivity of gear electrode was adjusted by heat treatment process,and the influence of heat treatment parameters on conductivity and EDM performance of gear electrode was studied.The experimental results showed that the conductivity of gear electrode varies from 9.51 Ms/m to 33.8 Ms/m under different heat treatment parameters.Under the annealing temperature of 300℃and the holding time of 4 hours,the gear electrode with good performance was obtained.At this time,the TWR and MRR of the gear electrode are 0.0024 mm^(3)/min and 0.3742 mm^(3)/min respectively.Compared with the milling electrode,the MRR of the gear electrode prepared by SLS increased by 31.53%.
