摘　　要：潘洞水语的ji^(44)是典型的多功能词,可用作副词、连词、语气词和助词。具体而言,有重复、延续、增量、重行体四种副词用法;有递进、转折、承接、目的、并列、条件、因果七种复句连词用法,动词连接、名词连接两种句中并列连词用法;作语气词时基本功能是表强调,有时带有辩驳意味;有话题标记、列举助词两种助词用法。ji^(44)的多功能性是多元演化的结果,其他用法都是从重复义副词通过多种途径发展而来。ji^(44)in the Pandong variety of the Sui language is a typical polyfunctional word,which can be used as an adverb,a conjunction,a modal word and a particle.Specifically,as an adverb,it can serve the functions of repetition,continuation,increment and repetition of events;as a conjunction,it can not only signal seven functions in compound and complex sentences,viz.progressive,adversative,additive,purpose,coordinative,conditional,and causal,but also serve two coordinating functions in independent sentences,that is,coordinating verbs and verb phrases or nouns and noun phrases;as a modal word,it is primarily used for the emphatic function,which sometimes carries a sense of rebuttal;as a particle,it can serve as a topic marker or an enumeration marker.The polyfunctionality of ji^(44)is a result of multi-element evolution,and all other functions are developed from the adverb function of repetition through multiple paths.
