摘　　要：本文基于中国工业企业数据库、中国工业企业污染数据库和海关进出口数据库研究RTA环境条款对出口企业环境绩效的影响。研究发现:中国与目的地国家(地区)签订包含环境条款的RTA能够显著降低中国出口企业的污染排放强度,且这一作用为环境条款本身的直接效应而非RTA的间接效应;相较于其他环境条款内容,环境合作与公众参与具有更强的环境绩效提升作用,这一作用在非外资企业、加工贸易企业和重污染行业企业中更为突出。机制分析表明,环境条款通过降低出口企业污染排放的产出弹性来提升其环境绩效,且这一过程主要通过企业清洁技术升级与能源效率提升来实现。This study examined the influence of Regional Trade Agreement(RTA)environmental provisions on the environmental performance of export enterprises,utilizing data from the China Industrial Enterprises Database,Industrial Enterprises Pollution Database,and China Customs Database.The analysis reveals a statistically significant and positive causal relationship between environmental provisions and the reduction of pollution intensity in export enterprises.This effect is directly attributed to the environmental clauses,rather than the indirect impact of RTAs.Regarding specific provisions,these findings indicate that clauses related to environmental cooperation and the promotion of environmental objectives are more effective in enhancing the environmental performance of export enterprises compared to other provisions.Furthermore,this improvement effect is more pronounced in non-foreign-funded enterprises,processing trade enterprises,and industries with higher pollution levels.Lastly,it identifies that the primaries mechanism driving this improvement is the reduction of the output elasticity of pollution emissions.The upgrading of clean technology and improvements in energy efficiency serve as the two main channels.
