四川中江塔梁子东汉崖墓M3石刻画像墨书“襄人”新说

摘　　要：四川中江塔梁子东汉崖墓M3石刻画像上出现的“襄人”,学界或以为是胡人,或以为是西南地区的少数民族族称,尚无定论。长沙走马楼西汉简中出现的“襄人”为人名而非族称,且秦汉简牍与玺印中多有以“胡人”“越人”“赵人”“市人”“央人”“里人”“外人”“圣人”“异人”等以“某人”为名的取名现象。通过考察M3石刻画像主题与墨书“襄人”的位置,结合目前出土的汉代画像石榜题、工作性铭文的特点,可以确定M3石刻画像上墨书的“襄人”应为工匠题名,与“胡人舞蹈图”的主题内容应无关。“襄人人名说”可解决长久以来对M3“胡人舞蹈图”上端墨书“襄人”内涵的争论,消除此前各说对M3石刻画像石主题与“襄人”解释之间的抵牾。There is no consensus in the academic community on whether the xiang ren襄人appearing on the stone carvings of the Eastern Han cliff tomb No.M3 from Taliangzi,Zhongjiang,Sichuan,refers to the Hu people or an ethnic minority group in the southwestern region.Xiangren appears in the Western Han Changsha Zoumalou bamboo slips is a personal name,rather than a clan name,and there are many naming phenomena in Qin and Han bamboo slips and seals that use Hu ren胡人,Yue ren越人,Zhao ren赵人,shi ren市人,yang ren央人,li ren里人,wai ren外人,sheng ren圣人,yi ren异人,and so on.By further investigation of the theme of the M3 carving and the position of the xiang ren,combined with the characteristics of the Han Dynasty paintings and stone inscriptions,and unearthed signature inscriptions,we can determine that the xiang ren written in ink should be the name of the craftsman,and it should be unrelated to the theme content of the“Hu People Dancing Picture”.The explanation of Xiang Ren s name can solve the long-standing debate on the connotation of xiang ren written in ink on the upper part of the M3“Hu People Dancing Picture”,and eliminate the previous conflicts of interpretation on the theme of the M3 portrait stone and the xiang ren.
