摘 要:在民国时期西学之术占据国人效法主流时,皖派考据法多遭鄙弃,若以科学公允之心重估,皖派学者在应对时代思潮嬗变时秉承“不蔽己亦不自蔽”的精神对待传统文化和“西学”,采取“扬”“弃”并重的做法值得当下语言学界借鉴“,扬”和“弃”是皖派“小学”凸显的两个价值表征。“扬”体现在倚重传统语言文字的辅助功能观,在以字通经、以经治字的核心学术观念下,倡导并实践新的多重互证、音义互治的语音语义研究方法“;弃”体现在吸收西学,合理摈弃传统文字、音韵、训诂经验研究的偏失,撤除藩篱、融合贯通、开起科学实证的研究走向。两项表征标示皖派在语言学术史上具有承上启下的地位,其遗留文献具备深耕潜质。When the western learning technique occupied the mainstream of Chinese imitation during the period of the Republic of China,the textual research method of the Wan-School was mostly despised.If it was re-evaluated with a scientific and fair mind the scholars of the Anhui School treated traditional,culture and“western learning”in the spirit of“not covering themselves nor covering themselves”in response to the evolution of the trend of thought of the times.The practice of“Publicity”and“abandonment”with equal emphasis is worthy of reference by the current linguistic circle.“Publicity”and“abandonment”are the two prominent values of the“primary school”of the Anhui School.“Promoting”is embodied in relying on the auxiliary function view of traditional language and writing,advocating and practicing the new phonetic and semantic research method of multiple mutual proofs and mutual treatment of sound and meaning under the core academic concept of“connecting the classics with words”and“governing the characters with the classics”;“Abandonment”is embodied in absorbing western learning,reasonably discarding the bias of traditional language,phonology and exegesis empirical research,removing barriers,integrating and opening up the research trend of scientific and empirical research.The two representations indicate that Wan-School has a connecting position in the history of language learning,and its legacy documents have the potential of deep cultivation.
