摘 要:罗桑旦真的《蒙古佛教史·吉祥法螺音韵》大致成书于1906年年末。书中概述了从公元前至作者所在的清末蒙古地方佛教的发展史,并设专章讲述了蒙古喀尔喀地方的佛教发展状况。该书是一部用藏文写作的蒙古史、佛教史著作,较传统蒙藏佛教史著作它在基本史实考证、治史方式和史料运用上都有一定的不同;但其总体的指导性观念仍以传统的佛教史观为主,基本史料仍以佛教典籍和历代蒙藏佛教史著作为主。总之,《蒙古佛教史·吉祥法螺音韵》仍旧是一部以继承传统蒙藏佛教史叙事传统为主的著作,同时在一定程度上又反映出作者个人对历史的思辨以及西方学术成果的影响。它既是传统史学的余韵,又是现代史学的滥觞。Blo-bzang rTa-mgrin's Mongolian Buddhism History:bKra shis chos dung bzhad pavi sgra dbyangs was roughly written at the end of 1906.The book gives an overview of the history of Buddhism in Mongolia from BC to the late Qing Dynasty,with a special chapter on the development of Buddhism in Khalkha.This book is a history of Mongolian Buddhism written in Tibetan.Compared with the traditional history works of Mongolian and Tibetan Buddhism,it has made some progress in the research of basic historical facts,the way of treating history and the use of historical materials.However,its overall guiding ideas are still dominated by traditional Buddhist historical views,and the basic historical materials are still dominated by Buddhist classics and historical works of Mongolian and Tibetan Buddhism.In a word,Mongolian Buddhism History:bKra shis chos dung bzhad pavi sgra dbyangs is still a work that inherits the traditional narrative tradition of the history of Buddhism in Mongolia and Xizang.At the same time,this work reflects the author's personal speculations on history and the influence of Western academic achievements to a certain extent.It is not only the legacy of traditional historiography,but also the beginning of modern historiography.
