摘　　要：2016~2017年,湖北省文物考古研究所等单位在宜昌万福垴遗址“楚季”甬钟出土地以南、以东发掘了一批重要的文化遗存,时代从西周中期延续至春秋中期。结合2015年发掘资料可以发现,在甬钟出土地点周围以G1、G2、G5等多条灰沟形成“冂”状合围,其内有规律排列多座墓葬和祭祀坑。东部G7出土遗物丰富,除大量日用陶器外,还发现了数量较多的仿铜陶礼器,年代跨度较大。根据考古资料、“楚季”甬钟存在二次受热现象等推测,万福垴遗址极有可能是一处与祭祀有关的聚落居址。From 2016 to 2017,the Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology,along with other units,excavated significant cultural artifacts at the Wanfunao site in Yichang of Hubei Province,which are dated from the middle of the Western Zhou period to the middle of the Spring and Autumn period.When combined with the 2015 excavation data,a“冂”shape enclosure,formed by multiple ash ditches including G1,G2,and G5,is noticed around the locus where bronze bells were excavated.Within the enclosure,several tombs and sacrificial pits are spatially distributed orderly.Ash ditch G7 in the eastern section yielded a rich array of pottery artifacts,including a large number of utilitarian vessels and a significant quantity of pottery imitating bronze ritual vessels,demonstrating an overall wide range of dates.Based on archaeological evidence and the observable re-heating of a bronze bell inscribed with“Chu Ji”,it is inferred that the site was very likely associated with sacrificial activities.
