摘　　要：Far apart across the Pacific Ocean,China and Mexico enjoy a long history of exchanges.In the mid-16th century,the legendary ships Manila Galleon or Nao de China,loaded with silk,porcelain and tea from China,shuttled across the vast ocean.They brought to China delights such as chili-peppers,corn,tomatoes,peanuts and cocoa from Mexico,not to mention silver and gold.
