“经营地方”--卢作孚的中国式非凡企业家特质

摘　　要：卢作孚是一个非凡的企业家,他以“经营地方”为一生的从业志向,且这个志向随着事业的进展和时代的变迁而不断明确和坚定。从卢作孚的所言所行来看,所谓“经营地方”,就是以一个社区的整体性建设作为自己的经营总目标,既怀着“经营地方”的理想创办企业,又抱着经营企业的态度办理一切地方事业,使企业家功能得到超常发挥。卢作孚所怀抱的“经营地方”志向及其实践,是中国式企业家特质的一种重要表现。这种企业家特质,既不同于已流行约400年、出自西方的普通企业家涵义,也不同于近20年来新引入的西方“社会企业家”涵义。或可另立一新的概念--“地方企业家”,从而丰富和完善已有企业家概念。而且,卢作孚所创造的企业→地方→国家递进和互动的地方建设路径和模式,有利于推进生产发展和提高民众生活水平,对实现中国式现代化的共同富裕目标颇有借鉴价值。从中国式现代化的角度,来发掘中国式企业家的特质及其作用,是企业家研究和中国现代化史研究的一个新课题。As an extraordinary entrepreneur,Lu Zuofu takes“managing the local”as his lifelong ambition,which becomes clear and firm with the progress of his career and the change of times.Judging from Lu Zuofu’s words and actions,the so-called“managing the local”means taking the overall construction of a community as its goal of operation,while at the same time he not only establishes enterprises with the ideal of“managing the local”,but also handles all local undertakings with the attitude of operating enterprises,so as to get full play of the entrepreneurial functions.Lu Zuofu’s ambition of“managing the local”and its practice are an important expression of the characteristics of Chinese entrepreneurs which are not only different from the meaning of ordinary entrepreneurs which have been dominated for about 400 years,but also different from the meaning of western“social entrepreneurs”newly introduced in the past 20 years.We may probably put forward a new concept of“local entrepreneur”to make enrichments and improvements.Moreover,the path and mode of local construction ranging from enterprises through the local to the national created by Lu Zuofu is conducive to the development of production and the improvement of people’s living standards,and is of great value to the realization of the common prosperity of Chinese-style modernization.To explore the characteristics and functions of entrepreneurs from the perspective of Chinese modernization forms a new topic for entrepreneur studies and for the history of Chinese modernization.
