摘 要:刘宗周与毛奇龄皆为浙东学派代表,长于经史,但骈文成就不容忽视。毛奇龄尊崇儒家本经,对刘宗周其人其学推崇备至。在骈文创作方面,刘宗周主于实用,但不废骈文之美。毛奇龄追求唯美,然亦重视骈文根底。在骈文特征方面,刘宗周一派学者风范,毛奇龄尽展才子深情。在骈文师法上,刘宗周与毛奇龄皆法乳于《楚辞》,但刘宗周尊唐代陆贽,雄厚笃挚;毛奇龄喜六代徐庾,古艳华润。比较刘宗周与毛奇龄的骈文,可观照浙东学派与清代骈文嬗变之一隅。Liu Zongzhou and Mao Qiling are both representatives of the Eastern School of Zhejiang,renowned for their profound knowledge in the fields of classics and history.However,their achievements in parallel prose are also noteworthy.Mao Qiling holds the Confucian scriptures in high esteem and greatly admires Liu Zongzhou for his personal character and academic pursuits.In terms of parallel prose composition,Liu Zongzhou focuses on practicality while still appreciating its aesthetic beauty.Conversely,Mao Qiling pursues aesthetic perfection,yet also attaches importance to the fundamental principles of parallel prose.In terms of the characteristics of their parallel prose,Liu Zongzhou exemplifies the scholarly demeanor of his school,while Mao Qiling fully expresses the profound emotional sentiment of a talented writer.Liu Zongzhou and Mao Qiling’s works were both inspired by The Songs of Chu.However,Liu Zongzhou esteemed Lu Zhi,a renowned writer of the Tang Dynasty,whose works are robust and sincere.Conversely,Mao Qiling favored Xu Yu in Six Dynasties,whose works are classically elegant and lush.By comparing the parallel prose of Liu Zongzhou and Mao Qiling,it can help gain an insight into the transformation of the Eastern Zhejiang School and the evolution of parallel prose in the Qing Dynasty.
