平津学人反对“华北自治”运动述论——以傅斯年为中心

摘　　要：1935年,日本为扩大对中国的侵略,策划和实施“华北五省自治”图谋,其行为遭到全国人民尤其是平津地区广大知识分子的坚决反对。学界以《独立评论》骨干傅斯年、胡适等人为核心的部分平津学人,团结广大学人,为挽救民族危机,制止日本侵略者扩大侵华而积极努力。这批学人的主要作为有:一是利用声望、地位启导舆论,揭露日本侵略者和汉奸亲日分子推行“华北自治”的实质;二是奔走各地,运用其特有人脉资源努力做有关地方军政大员站稳民族立场的工作,制止其与日人妥协、谈判和合作;三是利用多种形式提升民众的民族意识和爱国热情。历史事实证明,平津学人为制止日本“华北自治”图谋做了大量实际而有成效的工作。In 1935,the Japanese invaders planned and implemented the scheme of “autonomy of the five provinces in North China” in order to further expand its aggression of China.Such actions were resolutely opposed by the people of the whole country,especially the intellectuals in Peiping and Tientsin.Some Peiping-Tientsin scholars in the academic circle,with Fu Sinian and Hu Shi,the backbone of The Independent Review,as their core,united the other scholars and made efforts to solve the national crisis and stop the Japanese invaders from expanding their invasion of China.The main activities of these scholars were as follows:first,they guided the public opinion and exposed the essence of “North China Autonomy” promoted by the Japanese invaders,the traitors and the pro-Japanese elements;second,they went to various places,appealing to local military and political leaders to maintain a firm national position,and stopping them from compromising,negotiating and cooperating with the Japanese;and third,they used various forms to enhance the national consciousness and patriotic enthusiasm of the people.Historical facts have proved that the Peiping-Tientsin scholars did a lot of practical and effective work to frustrate the “North China Autonomy” scheme of Japan.
