摘　　要：托马斯·曼是德国二十世纪最著名的现实主义作家,在德国文学史上具有无法替代的地位。托马斯·曼对德国社会的描写,往往聚焦社会现实,却未得到学界足够关注。《魔山》和《浮士德博士》作为其长篇小说的代表,立足于二十世纪的德国社会现实,描写社会心理,揭示社会病态,从政治、伦理与社会群众心理角度隐喻二十世纪德国社会的种种问题。两部小说见证了德国军国主义的横行、虚无主义的泛滥、极端民族主义的暴虐,揭示了世界大战给人类带来的空前浩劫,用文学的力量发出了反对战争、争取和平的呐喊,警醒人们正视历史,反思历史、加强世界各国的和平合作,共同建设和平共处、平等友爱的人类世界。Thomas Mann,who was the most famous realistic writer in Germany in the 20th century,has an irreplaceable position in the history of German literature.His description of the German society often focuses on the social reality,but has not received much attention from academic circles.As the two masterpieces of his novels,Der Zauberberg and Doktor Faustus,based on the social reality of Germany in the 20th century,describe the social psychology,reveal the social pathology,and map the various problems of the German society from the perspective of politics,ethics and social psychology.The two novels show the rampant German militarism,the spread of nihil⁃ism and the tyranny of extreme nationalism,and reveal the unprecedented devastation of the world war to mankind.They use the power of literature to send out a cry to oppose war and fight for peace,alerting people to face up to his⁃tory,reflect on history,strengthen peaceful cooperation between all countries in the world,and jointly build a human world of peaceful coexistence,equality and friendship.
