摘 要:本研究采用口头产出任务,开展了两个实验,通过操控句子先导语中各名词语法的数以及概念的数,检验我国英语学习者主谓一致结构产出的数吸效应,并检验标记性、概念的数以及语言水平的影响。40名被试参加了实验一,他们在中心名词与局部名词语法数的不同匹配条件下完成句子产出任务。结果发现,当中心名词与局部名词的数不一致时,口语产出准确率显著更低,证实了数吸效应的存在。另外40名被试参加了实验二,在不同概念的数的条件下完成句子产出任务。结果发现,主谓一致结构产出不受标记性与概念数的影响,也不受语言水平的调节。本研究认为,母语线索的遮蔽和阻碍以及记忆提取问题是数吸效应形成的根本原因,教学上应该丰富学习者主谓一致构式的接触经验,并在不同语境中强化对该语法构式控制成分的敏感性,从而调整以母语经验为主导的认知系统。This study employed an oral production task to investigate number attraction effects in the subject-verb agreement production by Chinese EFL(English as a Foreign Language)learners.Two experiments were conducted,manipulating both the grammatical number and the notional number of nouns in a preamble.In Experiment 1,40 participants engaged in an oral sentence production task under conditions where the head noun and the local noun in the preamble either matched or mismatched in number.Results revealed a significant number attraction effect,with lower production accuracy in mismatch conditions,confirming the presence of the number attraction effect.In Experiment 2,another 40 participants completed a sentence production task under different conditions of notional number.The results indicated that subject-verb agreement production was not influenced by markedness,notional number,or language proficiency.The study proposes that the number attraction effect arises from overshadowing and blocking of native language cues and memory retrieval processes.In terms of pedagogy,it is crucial to enhance learners'understanding of subject-verb agreement constructions and develop their sensitivity to the controllers of this grammatical structure in diverse contexts.This adjustment in cognitive systems,primarily influenced by native language experience,is essential for effective language learning.
