摘　　要：本科生考研是一项重要的教学任务,各本科院校也正不遗余力助力学生对英语的学习,围绕考研英语词汇的教学,西部地区二本院校的教学,应加强考研英语词汇的相关内容,确定考研英语词汇教学的教学原则和指导思想,寻找西部地区二本院校考研英语词汇的教学方法,提高考研英语词汇教学的有效性。It is an important teaching task for undergraduate students to take the entrance examination for postgraduate studies,and all undergraduate colleges and universities are sparing no effort to help students learn English.This paper makes a study on the teaching of English vocabulary for the entrance examination for postgraduate studies in a basic public university in Western China,and puts some measures to improve the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching:strengthening the relevant content,clarifying teaching principles and guiding ideology,and seeking teaching methods suitable basic public universities in Western China.
