摘　　要：双墩遗址位于安徽省合肥市庐江县庐城镇申山村西北约2.5公里,东南距庐江县城约6公里,西距罗埠河约1.2公里,地理坐标为北纬31°18′34″、东经117°14°42″,海拔约17米(图一)。In 2018,a salvage excavation was conducted at the Shuangdun site,recovering two mounds,Nos.2 and 3.The former has a turtle-shaped appearance,the latter a three-tiered stepped structure.On both mounds archaeological features such as dwellings,post holes,and midden pits,along with unearthed artifacts made of pottery,stone,and bone,etc.were found,providing crucial material evidence for understanding the characteristics of mound sites in the Jianghuai region.The Shuangdun site dates to the middle to late Western Zhou period.The excavation holds paramount significance for exploring the cultural evolution of Zhou civilization in the Huai River basin,and for understanding the developmental process of enduring coexistence and rises and falls of diverse attributes of cultures such as the Zhou and the local Huaiyi.
