摘 要:宋代礼图文献的研究价值及其中的图释性质,多年以来始终未得到准确评价,后世多以出土器物形制为据,认为礼图属于臆造产物,其中图释不可信,但此类观点有失公允。据对聂崇义《新定三礼图》的分析可知,书中礼器的形制来源大多有所依凭。礼图与出土实物之间存在差异的根本原因,是由于“以图释礼”的本质属性,创作礼图的核心目的是解读三礼文献,不在于复原三代器物。因此,后代学者多以出土器物证礼图之正误,又以图释正误与否来评判其书之优劣,这种思路是不正确的。The research value of the illustrative literature on ritual vessels of the Song Dynasty and the interpretative nature of its illustrations have never been evaluated accurately over the years.Based on the shape and structure of unearthed artifacts,consequent scholars considered the illustrations of ritual vessels are fabricated and its interpretations are unreliable.However,these opinions are unfair.According to the analysis of Xin Ding San Li Tu of Nie Chongyi,the origin of the shape and structure of ritual vessels in the book are mostly reliable.The fundamental reason for the difference between the illustrations of ritual vessels and the unearthed artifacts lies in the essential attribute of“interpreting rituals through illustrations.”The core purpose of creating the illustrations of ritual vessels is to interpret the literature of three ritual classics,not to reconstruct the artifacts.Therefore,it is incorrect for later scholars to verify the accuracy of the illustrations of ritual vessels using unearthed artifacts and to judge the quality of the books based on the correctness of their interpretations.
