摘 要:作为20世纪中国现代雕塑艺术发展的见证者、亲历者与建构者,曾竹韶从留法时期洞明人文主义精神到归国后提倡时代精神、形神兼备的雕塑创研理念,进而为践行雕刻民族化,护法中国传统雕刻艺术文脉奔与呼,在中国现代雕塑艺术发展史上产生了重要影响。本文以曾竹韶雕塑艺术思想、风格特征和1949年后对中国现代雕塑艺术事业所作贡献为研究线索,论述其在中国现代雕塑艺术发展历程中的地位与作用,以期为新时代中国雕塑艺术发展之径提供有益的参照和启示。Zeng Zhushao fully understood humanistic spirits when he studied in France,advocated the sculpture creation and research concept that grasped spirits of the times and emphasized vividness after coming back home,and tried his best to advance the nationalization of sculpture and protect traditional Chinese sculptural art and culture,making great difference to the development of modern Chinese sculptural art.He is thus considered an artist who has witnessed,experienced and promoted the development of modern Chinese sculptural art in the 20th Century.This article analyzes Zeng Zhushao's thoughts on sculptural art,his styles and his contributions to modern Chinese sculptural art after 1949,and discusses his status and role in the development of modern Chinese sculptural art,in the hope to provide inspirations for the development of Chinese sculptural art in the new era.
