摘　　要：中国古典小说西行滥觞于明清人情小说。从18世纪初《好逑传》走进英语受众至今,该流派作品的英译传播已有300余年历史。目前,该流派中有18部作品已走入英语世界,英译本达77种。其英译传播活动以西方人发起为主,大致经历了道德教化、信息猎取、价值鉴赏三个阶段,总体呈现外热内冷的局面。作品在中西交流史中的价值随着中西关系和传播环境的变化而嬗变,从实用主义逐渐走向学术鉴赏。在中国文化“走出去”的战略背景下,以时间为轴,通过历史分析法综观明清人情小说英译传播情况,揭示其流派价值在中西文化交流史中嬗变的经历和原因。同时,以史为镜,旨在通过发掘中西文化交流中的供需契合点来提升明清人情小说英译传播效果,并为中国其他文学类型的对外传播提供参考。The novels of manners in the Ming and Qing Dynasties are considered as the pioneer in the Sino-Western communication of classical Chinese novels.Since the early 18th Century Hau Kiou Choaan first came to the western world,the Chinese-English translational communication of this school has lasted over 300 years.At present,18 works with 77 English versions have been disseminated to the English-speaking countries.Mainly initiated by Westerners,the Chinese-English translational communication activities have experienced three historical periods,namely the moralizing period,the information-hunting period and the value-appreciating period.Overall,English-speaking countries have shown more interest than China.The communicative value of the works has evolved in the Sino-Western communication history with the change of Sino-Western relations and communication environments,gradually shifting from pragmatism to academic appreciation.Under the environment of Chinese culture"going out",this paper comprehensively studies the Chinese-English translational communication history of the novels of manners in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,revealing the evolving experiences and reasons of its communicative value.At the same time,to improve the communication effectiveness by exploring the supply-demand points during Sino-Western cultural exchanges,and set examples for the future communication of other Chinese literary schools.
