摘　　要：近几年我国本科毕业生每年都高达1 100万,而撰写合格的毕业论文是学生获取学位的基本要求。通过对往届英语专业学生撰写的50篇本科毕业论文的实证调查,发现存在严重的抄袭、剽窃行为。在介绍理论、定义、研究和知识的内容中有55%没有注明出处,大多是从已发表的中文论文翻译过来的,少数是从英语论文中直接挪用。文章分析了原因,并给出了建议,认为要高度重视毕业论文撰写中的学术诚信问题,不能让毕业论文写作成为学生剽窃、抄袭的温床。More than ten million undergraduate students graduate each year in recent years and they could gain their bachelor degrees only by writing the theses.The study investigates 50 theses written by the students of English Major who graduated in 2022,and finds that 55%of the sentences fail to acknowledge the sources when introducing theories,definitions,studies and knowledge.The results also indicate that many of them are either directly translated from Chinese dissertations or rewritten from English papers.This paper analyses the reasons for the plagiarism,and suggests that it is time to pay adequate attention to academic integrity and prevent thesis writing from becoming a hotbed of plagiarism.
