摘 要:针对混合法向模螺旋天线方向图不对称问题,提出了一种基于双螺旋法向模的紧凑型全向圆极化天线。该天线主要由两种不同尺寸的螺旋、连接不同尺寸螺旋的两对金属短棒以及馈电巴伦组成。其中,大小螺旋分别主要贡献水平极化和垂直极化,从而实现全向圆极化辐射。相对于单螺旋法向模天线,该双螺旋天线结构更对称,能够实现更为均匀的全向辐射方向图。同时,利用两对金属短棒将大小螺旋进行级联,天线结构更加紧凑,横向尺寸仅为0.15λ。研究结果显示,该天线仿真轴比带宽2.29~2.49GHz,全向增益范围1.2~2.2dBic,能够实现良好的全向圆极化辐射。天线采用金属3D打印技术进行加工。实测结果与仿真结果吻合良好,实测轴比带宽2.27~2.47GHz,最大增益2.08dBic,水平面轴比小于3d B,适用于室内物联网等应用场景。A compact omnidirectional circularly polarized antenna based on twin helix normal-mode was proposed to solve the problem of the asymmetry radiation patterns caused by hybrid normal-mode helical antenna.The antenna was mainly composed of two different-sized helices,two pairs of short metal bars that connecting different-sized helices,and a feed balun.The large and small helices were mainly responsible for the horizontal and vertical polarizations,respectively,thus achieving omnidirectional circular polarization radiation.Compared with the single helix normal-mode antenna,the structure of the twin-helical antenna was more symmetrical,and more uniform omnidirectional radiation pattern was enabled.Additionally,two helices were cascaded using two pairs of short metal bars,making the antenna structure more compact with a lateral dimension of only 0.15λ.The results show that the antenna has a simulated axial ratio bandwidth of 2.29-2.49 GHz,an omnidirectional gain range of 1.2-2.2 dBic,and good omnidirectional circular polarization.The antenna was fabricated using metal 3D printing technology.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation.The measured axial ratio bandwidth is 2.27-2.47 GHz,with a maximum gain of 2.08 dBic.The axial ratio of the horizontal plane is below 3 dB,making it suitable for indoor IoT and other application scenarios.
