摘　　要：以嘉庚公建群创作为例,引发公众对城市公共精神的思考。从新城公建群开发、公共空间打造、嘉庚建筑风貌分析以及嘉庚精神的时代表达等几方面着手,逐层递进展现了嘉庚精神的文化与民族内涵。由此提出以城市公共性激发城市公共精神的策略,唤醒新城市民对嘉庚精神的记忆,使之成为集美新城公共精神的内在核心。Taking the creation of the Jiageng Public Building Group as an example,it triggers public reflection on the urban public spirit.The article starts from several aspects such as the development of public buildings,the creation of public spaces,the analysis of the architectural style of the Jiageng era,and the expression of the Jiageng spirit of the times,gradually demonstrating the cultural and ethnic connotations of the Jiageng spirit layer by layer.Therefore,the strategy of stimulating the public spirit of the city with the public nature of the city is proposed to awaken the memory of the citizens of the new town to the spirit of Jiageng Spirit,which becomes the internal core of the public spirit of Jimei new town.
