摘　　要：在对神秘主义学说的兴趣中,东方的瑜伽哲学得到过乔伊斯的关注。通过对乔伊斯后期作品的分析,可以发现乔伊斯后期思想与瑜伽哲学的相似之处。瑜伽哲学主要通过化名瑜伽士·罗摩迦罗伽的美国神秘学家阿特金森对乔伊斯产生影响,因此乔伊斯接受的实际是一种西方化了的瑜伽哲学。不过即便如此,阿特金森介绍的瑜伽哲学为乔伊斯提供了理解精神和存在的东方视野,而以良心为核心的精神世界既是乔伊斯从《一个青年艺术家的画像》起就确定的艺术方向,也是他在《芬尼根的守灵夜》中思考的根本内容。瑜伽哲学的影响使乔伊斯后期对精神世界的理解呈现出一定的东方色彩。In James Joyce's interest in the mysticism,the eastern Yogi philosophy got Joyce's attention.With the analysis of Joyce's Finnegans Wake,we can find the similarities between Joyce's later thought and yogi philosophy.Yogi philosophy influenced James Joyce mainly through the American mystic Atkinson under the pseudonym Yogi Ramacharaka.Therefore Joyce actually received a Westernized yogi philosophy.Even so,Atkinson’s introduction provides Joyce with an eastern perspective to understand spirit and existence.The spiritual world centered on conscience is not only Joyce's artistic goal since The Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man,but also the fundamental content of his thinking in Finnegans Wake.The influence of yogi philosophy gives Joyce's idea on the spiritual world a certain Oriental color.
