摘 要:英国现代主义小说家D.H.劳伦斯有着另一重艺术家身份,即一名绘画创作者和评论家。劳伦斯在晚期创作中,围绕绘画展开了关于艺术本体性及伦理维度的讨论。透析劳伦斯的绘画观对于理解其小说中的伦理思想有重要作用。本文从溯源劳伦斯绘画实践与批评的历史背景与文化语境出发,重点厘清劳伦斯语境下绘画的本体性与道德内涵及其对晚期小说伦理关系呈现的积极启示。论文试图指出劳伦斯以跨媒介的方式反思现代社会中视觉思维主导的关系模式,进而在其小说中进一步建构新的伦理关系。The British modernist novelist D.H.Lawrence holds another identity as an artist,namely as a practitioner and critic of painting.In his later career,Lawrence delves into discussions concerning the ontological and moral dimensions of art,with a specific focus on painting.Analyzing Lawrence's perspectives on painting proves crucial for understanding the ethical thoughts in his novels.Commencing by examining the historical background and cultural milieu surrounding Lawrence's exploration of painting,the paper aims to elucidate the ontological and moral connotations of painting in Lawrence's context,shedding light on its significance for his ethical vision portrayed in his later novels.It endeavors to highlight Lawrence's reflections on the visually dominated relationships in modern society,ultimately contributing to the construction of a new paradigm of ethics in his literary works.
