闽南文化多元结构刍议

摘　　要：与中华文化及其范围内各种地域文化一样,闽南文化是一种多元结构。其根源在于闽南人的族群来源是多元的,包括土著越人、南迁汉人及来自湖南的“蛮”人(以地域命名则称为“武陵蛮”、“五溪蛮”,以信仰命名则称为“槃瓠蛮”)、来自海外的“番客”等多种成分;其地形、地貌与生态环境及经济类型也是多元的,地形包含中山、低山、丘陵、台地和平原,相应地,经济包括山林经济、大田稻作、沿海养殖捕捞渔业及海上商贸等基本类型。族群来源与地理环境及经济类型的多元,决定了闽南人人文性格的多元化,其基本面貌是兼容并包、崇正守礼、开拓进取、坚韧俭朴。其中的精华,需要我们积极弘扬,某些消极因素,则应该予以批判改造。Like Chinese culture and its regional expressions,Minnan culture has a diverse structures.The root cause for it lies in the multiple ethnic origins of the Minnan people,including the indigenous Yue people,the Han people who migrated southward,and the“barbarian”people from Hunan province(named Wuling Barbarian and Wuxi Barbarian in geographical terms,and Panhu Barbarian in religious terms),as well as various overseas settlers.Minnan area is also diverse in terrain,landforms,ecological environment and economic types.In terms of terrain,there are moderately high mountains,low mountains,hills,terrace and plains,etc.in the area.Correspondingly,it has various economic types range from mountain forest economy to field rice cultivation,coastal aquaculture and fishing,and maritime commerce.The myriad ethnic origins,geographical environments and economic types shape diverse personality traits of Minnan people which are basically featured by inclusiveness,reverence for righteousness and propriety,a pioneering and enterprising spirist,and resilience and frugality.We need to preserve and promote actively the essence of these characteristics while criticizing and transforming some negative factors.
