胆甾型侧链液晶聚硅氧烷的合成与性能研究

摘　　要：首先制备了向列型液晶单体4-(4-烯丙氧基苯甲酰氧基)苯甲酸乙酯(M_(1))和胆甾型液晶单体4-烯丙氧基苯甲酸胆甾醇酯(M_(2)),然后将M_(1)和M_(2)与聚甲基含氢硅氧烷接枝共聚,合成了侧链液晶聚合物(P_(1)—P_(5)),通过红外光谱(FT-IR)、核磁氢谱(^(1)H-NMR)、差示量热(DSC)、热重(TG)、X射线衍射(XRD)和偏光显微镜(POM)等手段表征了液晶单体和聚合物的结构和性能。结果表明:聚合物P_(1)没有液晶性能和旋光活性,P_(2)—P_(5)表现出胆甾相的液晶性能和右旋的旋光活性。随着M_(2)单体含量的增加,玻璃化转变温度(T_(g))与清亮点(T_(c))逐渐升高,液晶相温度区间由61.4℃增加到120.5℃,尤其P_(5)在升降温过程中均存在选择性反射现象。此外,聚合物P_(1)—P_(5)均具有良好的热稳定性。Nematic liquid crystal monomer 4-(4-allylbenzoyl)ethyl benzoate(M_(1))and cholesteric liquid crystal monomer 4-allylbenzoate(M_(2))were firstly prepared,and then a series of side-chain liquid crystal polymers(P1—P5)were synthesized by graft copolymerization of the two monomers with polymethylhydrosiloxane.The structures and properties of liquid crystal monomers and polymers were characterized by FT-IR,^(1)H-NMR,DSC,TGA,XRD and POM,etc.The results showed that polymer P_(1) had no liquid crystal properties and optical activity,but P_(2)—P_(5) exhibitedliquid crystal properties of cholesteric phase and right-handed optical activity.With the increase of M_(2) monomer content,the glass transition temperature(T_(g))and clear point(T_(c))gradually increased,and the liquid crystal phase temperature range increased from 61.4℃to 120.5℃.Among them,P_(5) had selective reflection during the heating and cooling processes.In addition,all polymers P_(1)—P_(5) had good thermal stability.
