摘　　要：在英国历史上,16世纪至18世纪是重商主义的经典时代。对此,学术界基本上形成了共识。但是,在经典时代之前,一些重商主义政策已经得到了应用;在经典时代之后,不少重商主义政策依然通行了一段时间,尽管遭到了各种各样的质疑。从重商主义乃经济政策与经济思想之复合体这个角度,有必要以经典时代为基础,将英国重商主义向前延展一个半世纪作为前经典时代,向后延展半个世纪作为后经典时代。由此,我们既可以看清英国重商主义在这5个世纪中的生命周期;又可以知道经济自由主义是如何从重商主义的母体中孕育出来并且成为其对立面的;从长周期角度还可以体会到,体系性的经济思想的形成总是离不开时代的超势性需要。In the history of Britain,the 16th to 18th century is the classic era of British mercantilism.Most of economic historians have reached a consensus on this.But before that,some mercantilist policies had been applied;after that,many mercantilist policies stll continued to prevail for some time,though they were questioned in all kinds of ways.Therefore,from the point of view that mercantilism is a unified framework of economic policy and economic thought,it is necessary to define the period which is a century and a half before the classical mercantilism as a preclassical era,and half a century after the classical mercantilism as a post-classical era.So we can not only know clearly the life cycle of British mercantilism in the five centuries,but also know furthermore the gestation and growth of British economic liberalism out of the matrix of mercantilism and how the former finally became the opposite of the latter.At the same time,from the perspective of long cycle,the generation of systemic economic thought is always inseparable from the needs of the trend of the times.
