摘  要:植物水分利用效率(WUE)能够反映植物—土壤—大气的碳水循环耦合状况。从植物功能性状角度讨论WUE有助于理解植物对环境的适应策略、对资源的利用和分配过程以及植物生态策略与生态系统循环的耦合关系。目前关于功能性群落结构与水分利用效率关系的研究已取得了一些进展,但仍缺乏整体认识。文中总结前人研究成果,从WUE的概念及其与功能性群落结构之间的联系角度展开综述发现:1)WUE与其他功能性状间存在一定的联系与权衡,但同一种植物在不同生境条件下的叶片形态以及水分利用状况都可能发生相应的变异,不同植物功能性状对WUE的影响可能存在交互作用(叠加或抵消),这种相互作用也受环境条件影响,进而导致研究结果存在差异;2)WUE与叶片经济型谱(LES)之间存在关联,但并不存在于所有植被类型中,对叶片水力学—经济性状关系需要进行更广泛的研究;3)此前研究更多地认为物种丰富度显著影响了WUE,但功能多样性与WUE之间是否存在明确关系尚无一致的结论。Water use efficiency(WUE)of plant can reflect the coupling status of the carbon-water cycle among plant,soil and atmosphere.Discussing WUE from the perspective of plant functional traits can help understand the adaptive strategies of plants to the environment,the process of resource utilization and allocation by plants,and the coupling relationship between plant ecological strategies and ecosystem cycling.Although some prominent research progress has been made on the relationship between functional community structure and water use efficiency,there is still a lack of overall understanding.This review summarizes previous research results and discusses the concept of WUE and its linkage with functional community structure.It finds that:1)There are certain linkages and trade-offs between WUE and other functional traits,but for the same plant species in different habitat conditions,corresponding variations could happen on leaf shape and water utilization of the plant.The effects of different plant functional traits on WUE may interact(superposition or offset),and such interactions are also affected by environmental conditions,which may lead to biased results;2)WUE is associated with leaf economic spectra(LES),but not for all types of vegetation,and the relationships between leaf hydrodynamics and economic trait need to be studied more extensively;and 3)Previous studies hold that species richness significantly affects WUE,but there is no consistent conclusion on whether there is a clear relationship between functional diversity and WUE.
