天台宗研究视野中的蕅益智旭身份问题考析  

On the Identity of Ouyi Zhixu from the Perspective of Research on Tiantai Sect

摘　　要：晚明四大高僧之一的蕅益智旭与天台宗的关系历来是学界研究的热点问题。通过对智旭与天台宗关系研究的回顾,可以发现强调智旭并非天台宗传人的观点多受限于资料的不完备及研究方法的局限,而近年来对晚明高明讲寺一系天台宗研究的深入,为我们重新解读智旭与天台宗关系提供了新的研究思路。正是缘于晚明天台宗高明讲寺一系的复兴,使得智旭认识到天台教法对于佛教发展的重要价值,他虽不认同单独弘扬天台宗的佛学理念,但仍将天台佛学纳入到其佛法体系建构的核心,也正因如此,后世智旭一系的传承被同化为天台宗传承。The relationship between Ouyi Zhixu,one of the four eminent monks in the late Ming Dynasty,and the Tiantai Sect has always been a hot issue in academic research.Through the review of the research on the relationship between Zhixu and Tiantai Sect,it can be found that the view which emphasize that Zhixu was not the heir of Tiantai Sect is mostly due to the incompleteness of the data and the limitation of the research method,while the in-depth research on the Tiantai Sect of the Gaoming Temple in the late Ming Dynasty in recent years has provided us with a new research ideas to reinterpret the relationship between Zhixu and Tiantai Sect.It is because of the revival of the Gaoming Temple of Tiantai Sect in the late Ming Dynasty that Zhixu realized the importance value of the Tiantai Sect for the development of Buddhism.Although he did not agree with the idea of promoting the Tiantai Sect’s Buddhist philosophy alone,he still included the Buddhism of Tiantai Sect in the core of his Dharma system.It is just because of this reason that the inheritance of Zhixu’s lineage has been assimilated into the Tiantai Sect’s inheritance in the later generations.
