摘 要:安吉拉·卡特的经典短篇《染血之室》是对《蓝胡子》童话的改写之作,卡特不仅通过戏仿的形式塑造了异于传统的女性形象,更是通过女性的感官功能而形塑的反视觉书写暗中消解了西方思想中以男性为主体的视觉中心机制。西方思想自亚里士多德就奠定了视觉的优越性,并随着社会的发展经不平等的性别地位而昭显了男性视觉书写的中心地位。在故事中,卡特通过女性的感官机制不断对峙男性的视觉审视,在感官逻辑内部瓦解其等级,进而挑战西方思想中两性不平等的思维定式。Angela Carter’s classic short story The Bloody Chamber is a rewrite of the fairy tale Bluebeard.Through parody,Carter not only shapes female characters that differ from tradition but also uses the sensory functions of women to construct an anti-visual writing style,subtly undermining the Western idea of a visual-centric mechanism with men as the subject.Western thought,since Aristotle,has established the superiority of vision and has highlighted the central position of male visual writing with the development of society,showcasing the unequal gender status.In the story,Carter continuously challenges male visual scrutiny through women’s sensory mechanisms,disintegrating hierarchies within sensory logic and thus challenging the conventional thinking of gender inequality in Western thought.
