免缠绕式光插回损测试仪的校准方法研究

摘  要:为了解决免缠绕式光插回损测试仪的校准问题,分析了其工作原理,提出了使用光衰减器和标准光纤来产生标准回损的方法,解决了其回波损耗的校准问题。使用光电转换器和电光转换器,将光脉冲转换成电脉冲后,通过延迟触发,实现了光脉冲的延时,解决了长度的校准问题。利用提出的方法对典型的免缠绕式光插回损测试仪进行校准,并分析了测量结果。通过分析结果可知,标准装置不确定度优于被校仪器最大允许误差的3倍,测量范围能覆盖仪器的量程,表明该方法适用于免缠绕式光插回损测试仪的校准。In order to solve the calibration problem of windless optical insertion/return loss tester,the working principle of the tester is analyzed,and the method of using optical attenuator and standard fiber to generate standard return loss is analyzed,which solves the calibration problem of return loss.By using photoelectric and electro-optic converters to convert optical pulses into electrical pulses,the delay of optical pulses is achieved by setting the trigger delay,which solves the problem of length calibration.The proposed method is used to calibrate a typical windless optical insertion/return loss tester and the measurement results are analyzed.The analysis results show that the uncertainty of the standard device is three times higher than the maximum allowable error of the calibrated instrument,and the measurement range can cover the range of the instrument,which indicates that the method is suitable for the calibration of the windless optical insertion/return loss tester.
