基于人力资本和社会资本视角的高校教师学术论文产出性别差异及影响因素研究

摘  要:科学界的性别不平等是学术界关注的重要议题,分析高校教师学术论文产出性别差异的现状及原因,对促进科研成果产出和科技事业发展具有重要意义。文章基于高校教师的履历信息和学术论文产出数据,以“计算机科学与技术”专业为例,选取27所高校591位教师在CSCD收录的14种计算机科学与技术领域期刊发表的7584篇论文数据,从人力资本和社会资本视角出发提出研究假设并对数据进行回归分析,探讨高校教师学术论文产出的性别差异及原因。研究发现:第一,在学术论文产出方面,我国“计算机科学与技术”专业高校教师学术产出性别差异显著,且男性教师优于女性教师。第二,在人力资本方面,女性教师博士学历以及教授职称占比不及男性教师;在社会资本方面,女性教师在结构维、关系维以及认知维的社会资本均不及男性教师。第三,人力资本对高校教师学术论文产出的回报不存在显著的性别差异,但是部分社会资本对学术论文产出的回报存在显著的性别差异。研究结果为改善该领域的性别不平等问题提供建议,为制定相关政策提供参考。Gender inequality in the scientific community is an important issue of concern in academia.Analyzing the current status and reasons for gender differences in academic paper output of university teachers is of great significance for promoting research output and the development of science and technology.Based on the resume information and academic paper output data of university teachers,this paper takes the major of computer science and technology as an example.It selects 7584 papers published by 591 teachers from 27 universities in 14 computer science and technology journals indexed by CSCD.Starting from the perspectives of human capital and social capital,the paper proposes research hypotheses and conducts regression analysis on the data to explore gender differences in academic paper output of university teachers and the reasons.The study found that:First,in terms of academic paper output,there is a significant gender difference among university teachers in the major of computer science and technology,with male teachers outperforming female teachers.Second,in terms of human capital,female teachers have a lower proportion of doctoral degrees and professor titles than male teachers;in terms of social capital,female teachers have lower levels of social capital in structural,relational,and cognitive dimensions compared to male teachers.Third,there is no significant gender difference in the return of human capital on academic paper output among university teachers,but there is a significant difference in the return of partial social capital on academic paper output.The research results provide suggestions for improving gender inequality in the field and serve as a reference for relevant policy making.
