“难以被建构的城市”——论城市题材在“十七年小说”中的“困境”

摘　　要：“十七年小说”中,城市题材作品远没有达到如“革命历史小说”、农村题材小说那样代表作家众多、经典之作频出的高度。造成这一文学现象的原因是多方面的,从文学传统上来说,现代文学时期城市题材小说数量有限,而且多表现的是对城市的批判,故没有形成可供“十七年小说”借鉴的资源。从现实层面上来说,随着建国后社会主义制度在城市的确立,对城市的书写逐渐从都市生活转向工业生产,但这却与当代作家的写作经验产生了“错位”。此外,农村题材较城市题材更容易实现当代文学对“革命的现代性”的追求,这无疑让城市题材在“十七年小说”题材选择过程中处于了劣势。Among the“seventeen years’novels”,the urban novels are far from reaching the height of representing numerous writers and frequent classic works such as“revolutionary historical novels”and“rural theme novels”.There are many reasons for this literary phenomenon.According to the literary tradition,the number of urban novels in the modern literary period is limited,and most of them are the criticism of city,so there is no reference resource for the“seventeen years’novels”.From a practical point of view,with the establishment of the socialist system in city after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the writing of city has gradually shifted from urban life to industrial production,but this has produced a“dislocation”with the writing experience of contemporary writers.In addition,the rural theme is easier to realize the pursuit of“revolutionary modernity”in contemporary literature than the urban theme,which undoubtedly puts the urban theme at a disadvantage in the process of selecting the theme of“seventeen years’novels”.
