Invasive Species Found More Resilient to Extreme Weather Events Than Their Native Counterparts

摘　　要：A new study appeared in Nature Ecology and Evolution on November 6 finds that extreme weather events like heatwaves,floods,and storms may favor invasive species over their native counterparts(doi:10.1038/s41559-023-02235).Analyzing responses of over 2,000 species,researchers found non-native animals were less negatively impacted by extreme events compared to natives.
