从普林斯顿大学馆藏一张京剧唱片说起

摘　　要：普林斯顿大学图书馆收藏一张1960年美国出版的京剧《空城计》唱片。唱片虽有英文唱词及翻译者,却没有列出演员、伴奏及原录音年。京剧爱好者,通过学唱《空城计》唱段进而可还原唱片的演员及录音年。比较各种版本唱片的差异记载可去伪存真,鉴别剧中人物扮演者及伴奏。一张唱片涉及了东西方交流中的有趣往事,是艺术超越隔阅具有魅力的例证。The Princeton University Library has the Peking Opera LP record,Ruse of the Empty City produced in the United States in 1960.Although the record has English lyrics and translators,it does not list the performers,accompanist,and original recording year.Through comparing various versions of the same record,the original edition and actors are identified.There are interesting stories about the cultural exchange between the East and West behind the recordevidence that art has power in transcending barriers.
