摘　　要：近代公共图书馆理念及图书馆学教育深受救亡图存、改造中国、近代化、文化复兴思潮的影响,出现了平民化指向,呈现出各类型图书馆对标相应社会理念的特点。民众图书馆、流通图书馆、通俗图书馆、儿童图书馆的广泛设立正是西方社会思潮落地实现大众化传播的文化具象。图书馆学术思想呈现出日益现代化、革命化、走向人民的内涵和特质,开拓了由藏书楼到图书馆过渡的新路径,奠定了新中国图书馆学术事业的新风貌。The concept of public library and librarianship education in modern times were deeply influenced by the ideas of salvation,transformation of China,modernization,and cultural revival,and appeared to point to populism,presenting the characteristics of various types of libraries in response to the corresponding social concepts.The widespread establishment of public libraries,circulating libraries,popular libraries,and children's libraries is the cultural symbol of the mass dissemination of Western social trends.The academic thinking of libraries presents an increasingly modern,revolutionary,and people-oriented connotation and characteristics,opening up a new path for the transition from library buildings to libraries,and laying a new foundation for the academic career of libraries in New China.
