摘　　要：曾经有一段白人女性主义者和黑人女性主义者的对话,后者问前者每天清晨在镜子中看到什么,前者回答“一个女人”,而后者则说“这正是问题所在,我看到的是一个黑女人”。这彰显出白人女性主义者与黑人女性主义者之间因由种族差异而难以回避的分野,也揭示出我们思维中的一个盲点一一对于那些赋予我们特权的社会机制往往视而不见。我们能够敏锐洞察和深入理解的常常是使我们陷入缺权、边缘和受压迫处境的社会机制,因为这些机制与我们日常体验到的挫败、无力和痛苦密切相关,充斥于现实生活的方方面面。Men are gendered beings.Men's studies examines men and masculinities through the prism of gender,linking their practical experiences at the individual level to the intersectional social structures at the macro level to advance the production and renewal of knowledge.The development of men's studies is essential to understanding the complexity,fluidity,locality and globality of gender relations,and fulfils its mission as an critical research field in the landscape of gender studies.
